FREDERICTON, New Brunswick, Canada — A recent Forbes article identified change as an important business opportunity with “The first major step toward successful change management is having a clear understanding of the approach you are looking to employ within your organization.” Helping clients assess and build internal change management capabilities is the foundation of Mariner’s new practice.

“We work with clients to help them become a change-able organization; supporting teams and leaders as they develop and integrate change management practices needed to achieve goals and realize benefits sooner,” says practice lead Shelley Fletcher.

New to the Mariner team, Fletcher has spent the last 25 years managing change, projects, programs, and strategic communications within large organizations. She began her career in health care, with over eight years leading corporate communications for a large health authority.  Shelley has been in the technology industry as a senior consultant since 2008 and spent over 10 years leading and integrating change management practices within projects and organizational transformations.

A Certified Change Management ProfessionalTM   through the Association of Change Management Professionals and a certified Prosci change practitioner, Fletcher is building a team that will help businesses prepare for immediate and future transformation while growing and developing their internal change management expertise. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply for these positions via the Mariner site.

“We’re extremely pleased to have Shelley add her leadership and extensive change management expertise to the Mariner team,” says Mariner President, Paul Eisner. “An advanced approach to change is now a critical business foundation. We look forward to helping both public and private sector organizations achieve success with our innovative strategies.”

Fletcher will work out of the Mariner office in Fredericton, New Brunswick but will be focusing the practice within New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.  Mariner recently announced the opening of its Fredericton office and role of Monica Gaudet-Justason, VP Public Sector and Major Accounts.

“We are excited to share our knowledge and experience in this area and assist clients as they prepare their organization to work differently,” says Gaudet-Justason.  “Mariner’s change management practice will help organizations become ready and equipped for major disruptions occurring in their industries.”
