Rick joined Mariner in 2009 as Vice President – Health. Previously, as Vice President of Business Development and Marketing with AnyWare Group, Rick pioneered their flagship ROAM secure access service and Patient Portal offerings. Rick has over 24 years of experience in the telecommunications and IT industries. Prior to AnyWare Group, Rick assumed the role of Senior Director of Business and Corporate Development for iMagicTV (now Alcatel-Lucent), a leading edge global broadband video software company. Rick secured $22 million of funding and investment and led the company in establishing strategic partnerships with leading companies such as Cisco, Nortel, Alcatel, Motorola, Harmonic and AFC. In the preceding 20 years, Rick held a number of positions in sales, marketing and planning with The New Brunswick Telephone Company (NBTel - now Bell Aliant) including 5 years as General Manager of NBTel Interactive; focusing on Advanced Network Solutions primarily in the Health and Education markets in New Brunswick and the United States. Rick co-founded the Wellness Network in New Brunswick, which was one of the first private healthcare networks in the world. Rick holds an MBA from St. Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. |
